Elliptical Peripheral [<--say 10 x]

I was at the gym today, and noticed the guy on the elliptical next to me was reading a book and had a beard. As awesome as that was, a few moments later a man showed up on my other side, also with a book. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the titles of either book, despite my attempts of "subtle" glances. 

The reason why this is amazing is two-fold: I've been going to this gym for a couple months now and never have I even seen one man reading a book (!); and, secondly, this pleasant peripheral inspired me to stay on a whole lot longer than I usually do. 

That's the key to my fitness success! Place men with beards and books around me. Brilliant.
